Novel shop reopening!

Due to recent events, I had to close the Novel store while handling a series of life events that made running Novel quite difficult. I am lucky enough to have been able to do so, although Novel is one of the few things that supports my mental wellbeing by providing a creative outlet. Stationery is not technically essential for life, but for many people like me, being able to create - draw, write, organise work and personal projects - is essential for our wellness, for creating and expressing meaning in our lives. My hope is that Novel can help with that, which is why I have decided to reopen the Novel shop.

Novel, like many small businesses, does not have a big team managing orders. Sometimes access to public services and resources is limited. I will be processing orders as they come, and some items have to be made on demand in-house. There are lots of things happening that are out of our control but I will do my best to keep you informed of any potential delays, whilst providing you with the high standard of handmade stationery that you can expect from Novel.

Novel discbound notebooks are designed to make creating and organising simple, efficient and sustainable. Everything is recycled and/or recyclable, and made to be reused for as long as you need it. Because of the materials used, and the easily removable pages, it is really easy to customise your notebooks. I am currently working on new products to make customisation even easier. There will be a new range of undated planner sheets and new notebook styles available in the next few weeks (subscribe for updates!).

I'd love to know if a public roadmap of future projects would be of interest to you, and if you have product / project ideas that you would like to add to the list. You are a part of the Novel future and your feedback is valued. Check out the forum to contribute your ideas. I look forward to chatting with you.

Stay safe, and keep on creating. We all play a part in building our world, and making it beautiful.

All the best
